In an effort to provide a quality and positive experience for our players, Simley Youth Football is now requiring that each family contribute their time. Volunteer opportunities include team manager, 1 head coach, 1 assistant coach, Varsity concession stand, or other activities that may arise during the football season.
Volunteer credit requirements (based on association needs) and volunteer fee are determined annually by the Board of Directors. The requirements and fees are as follows:
The Simley Youth Football Volunteer Coordinator and team managers will post/communicate shifts available on Sign Up Genius:
The association reserves the right to schedule members who have committed to working volunteers hours to specific shifts. If a scheduled shift cannot be worked, it is the member’s responsibility to find a replacement and communicate that to Jen Seelhammer.
Volunteering is not considered optional. Simley Youth Football Association is focused on the development of our players with a quality program. In order to execute our plans, including: Quality uniforms, camps, T-shirts, referee fees, field fees and proper equipment, we must be responsible with our budget. We completely depend on the support of the Simley Youth Football Association parents and all association members in order to accomplish our goals. We thank you for your past support and hope for continued growth in this aspect of our organization in the future.
