Welcome Volunteers to the 2017 Youth Football Season

 

In an effort to provide a quality and positive experience for our players, Simley Youth Football is now requiring that each family contribute their time. Volunteer opportunities include 1 team manager, 1 head coach, 1 assistant coach, Varsity concession stand, or other activities that may arise during the football season.

Volunteer credit requirements (based on association needs) and volunteer fee are determined annually by the Board of Directors. The requirements and fees are as follows:

  • Each Family MUST work a minimum of a 3 hour shift.
  • The volunteer fee is a pre-paid volunteer deposit of $ 150 and is due on the first day of camp on August 5th. The fee must be collected before your son is placed on a team. The volunteer fee will only cashed if the requirements are not met.
  • If you do not show up for the shift you signed up for without communicating it to jenseelhammer@hotmail.com Your check will be cashed the next business day.

 

The Simley Youth Football Volunteer Coordinator will post/communicate shifts available via sign up genius. You can always find this link the websites home page for avaliable opportunities.

The association reserves the right to schedule members who have committed to working volunteers hours to a specific shifts.  If a scheduled shift cannot be worked, it is the member’s responsibility to find a replacement and communicate that to the board.

Volunteering is not considered optional. Simley Youth Football Association is focused on the development of our players with a quality program.  In order to execute our plans, including: Quality uniforms, camps, T-shirts, referee fees, field fees and proper equipment, we must be responsible with our budget. We completely depend on the support of the Simley Youth Football Association parents and all association members in order to accomplish our goals. We thank you for your past support and hope for continued growth in this aspect of our organization in the future.
